Awesome news for John Morrison’s passion project

John Morrison is a busy guy. He’s not only been making moves in the ring but always looking to further his film career. If you are ever at your local Dollar General and see a copy of Boone: The Bounty Hunter on the shelves like I did, it’s not a mistake. John Morrison and his associates have struck a deal to have their hilarious action adventure passion project distributed in the popular chain of variety stores.

This could spell an even bigger impression for Boone and that would obviously mean a lot to Morrison. After all, he had to sacrifice a great deal to get this film made in the first place.

“I sold my house to finance the film,” John Morrison told Sports Illustrated in May. “I spent a lot of money on the trailer four years ago, with a plan to shop the trailer and raise the entire budget.”

“Well, that didn’t happen. Not everyone is going to have faith in the pro wrestler-turned-filmmaker. So, again, I gambled on myself. I refused to settle. I refused to accept anything less than a full-length feature film.”

Any project someone like John Morrison believes in so much he’d sell his house to finish is worth your time, believe me.

Now you can not only get Boone: The Bounty Hunter on pretty much every pay streaming service and online market including Amazon, but you can also pick up a copy at your local Dollar General (unless you’re in Alaska, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Washington, or Wyoming because there are no Dollar General stores there).

Morrison said they got Boone into Dollar General stores nationwide (that’s 13,601 stores) which is a pretty cool deal.
