Deonna Purrazzo Shares Photo While On Crutches After ROH Match Gets Stopped

Deonna Purrazzo is dealing with an injury following Monday night’s Ring of Honor television tapings.

Purrazzo was hurt while defending the ROH Women’s Pure Championship against Steph De Lander in Jacksonville, Florida. According to a fan in attendance, Purrazzo needed to be helped to the back after taking a suplex on the outside. The match was ruled a no contest, with Purrazzo retaining her title.

Today, Purrazzo shared an update with fans on social media, posting a photo of herself giving two thumbs up. In the image, she has two crutches under her arms and her right leg in a walking boot. “Thanks for all the love & positivity,” she wrote.

There has been no word on the specifics of Purrazzo’s injury or how long she could be out of action.

Purrazzo made history in December 2025 when she became the inaugural ROH Women’s Pure Champion, and she remains the only wrestler to have ever held the title. Beyond her work in AEW and ROH, she recently teamed with her husband, Steve Maclin, to put together a Battle for the Brave independent show in New Jersey earlier this month, raising support for the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, the organization created after 9/11 to honor and support veterans and first responders.

Maclin, for his part, recently became a free agent after being granted his release from TNA Wrestling.
