Impact Wrestling World Champion Christian Cage retired the TNA World Championship on tonight’s Impact on AXS TV show.
Cage talked about walking away from WWE in 2005 and signing with TNA and he put the company over for giving him a chance.
Cage said that he wanted to respectfully retire the title because he wants to focus on the future and not the past and going forward, the Impact World Championship will be recognized as the biggest prize in the company.
Tomorrow night at Emergence, Brian Myers will challenge Cage for the Impact World Title.
