The Impact Wrestling viewership numbers on the Pursuit Channel have been a mystery. Until now, the only thing known about Impact’s viewership is what is publicly available on Twitch which comes to somewhere between 7,000 to 11,000 viewers based on the week.
I’ve been able to get some numbers for the show on Pursuit.
The average viewership for Pursuit before Impact on Friday nights at 10 pm eastern was 10,000 viewers. Impact’s number for the debut show was slightly above that at about 12,250 viewers.
The ratings have increased with males 25-54 for the Friday 10 pm timeslot so Impact has slightly helped Pursuit but the numbers are minuscule compared to what Impact was getting on Pop, Destination America and certainly Spike TV.
Here is a percentage breakdown for the debut episode compared to what aired the week before:
First half hour – up 20 percent
Second half hour – Down 11 percent
Third half hour – Up 25 percent
Fourth half hour – Down 9 percent
There increase over the previous week was an average of just over 10 percent so that is not bad for Pursuit but not great for advertisers.
Pursuit Channel claims to be available in 40 million homes but the data given to us shows that they were available in 29,916,000 homes for January. Their main distribution is with Dish Network and DirecTV.
The household numbers are ComScore, Average Audience, Adults 18+, Live +7. The universe number is Nielsen.
