Amidst numerous reports regarding the status of TNA contracts, with many talent said to be on short-term agreements, new details have come out regarding a former TNA World Champion.
This past spring, a report from Fightful Select noted that Rich Swann’s TNA contract had expired. At the time, he was no longer with the company but was said to have remained on good terms with the promotion.
Since then, Swann has returned to TNA programming. He is now aligned with the First Cla$$ stable, which is led by AJ Francis. Swann joined the group as a replacement for KC Navarro.
Rich Swann’s Current Deal
While many TNA wrestlers have recently been reported to be under short-term contracts, Fightful Select confirmed that Swann is not one of them. According to TNA sources, Swann is currently working on a per-appearance basis.
It was also noted that Swann is not alone in this arrangement, as a number of other wrestlers are also working on a per-appearance basis for the promotion. Fightful expects to have more updates on TNA contracts soon.
