Former WWE/TNA star Austin Aries returned at the Impact Wrestling tapings on Wednesday night. Aries was there to challenge Impact Wrestling World Champion Eli Drake.
Aries listed his list of accomplishments with Impact Wrestling and said that Drake must go through him if he wants to be considered the greatest. The match was made and Aries had to fight off interference from Chris Adonis.
In the end, Aries won the match and became the new Impact Wrestling World Heavyweight Champion. Check out the photos below, courtesy of Jacob Cohen:
