There was a title change at Saturday night’s Impact Wrestling tapings in Mexico City.
Jordynne Grace defeated Taya Valkyrie to become the new Impact Wrestling Knockouts Champion for the first time.
Grace broke Valkyrie’s streak as she was the longest reigning Knockouts Champion in the history of the company.
There were reports last year that Valkyrie’s contract with Impact was set to expire at the end of last year. She may have agreed to stick around longer to drop the title. Of course, there is also a chance that she may have signed a new deal but with her husband John Morrison returning to WWE, I would not be shocked if Valkyrie ended up there.
