Mara Sade is on the open market.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select reports, via sources close to her, that Sade’s TNA Wrestling contract has expired and that she is now a free agent. The report indicates she is actively in contract negotiations and has been in contact with more than one company during the process.
Sade last worked for TNA at the promotion’s Albany tapings, where she beat Tasha Steelz in the first round of the TV Title Tournament. Whether she is part of this week’s tapings in Philadelphia is not known.
An expired deal does not necessarily mean a departure, and nothing in the report rules out a new agreement with TNA.
Sade spent four years with WWE as Jakara Jackson, working primarily on NXT, where she was part of the Meta-Four group alongside Lash Legend, Noam Dar and Oro Mensah. She and Legend also challenged for the Women’s Tag Team Championship on SmackDown. WWE released her on May 2, 2025.
She signed with TNA that July and debuted on the July 24 live edition of Impact, revealed as the surprise partner of The IInspiration in a six-woman tag team match, with the promotion confirming the signing on the same broadcast. That puts her TNA run at roughly a year.
She has also worked for WWE since the release. Sade returned to NXT in September 2025 as a member of Team TNA for the NXT vs. TNA Showdown elimination match.
