Jack Swagger receives date for second MMA fight

Former WWE Superstar Jake Hager (Jack Swagger) has received a date for his next pro-MMA fight. The former WWE World Heavyweight Champion has signed a contract with Bellator MMA and already competed inside of the cage.

He made his Bellator debut when he beat J.W. Kiser by first-round arm triangle choke on the main card of Bellator 214. This fight that took place on January 26, 2019 at The Forum in Inglewood, California on Paramount Network and DAZN.

ESPN reporter Ariel Helwani is reporting that Hager is slated to fight at the upcoming Bellator 221 event on May 11th at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois. As of this writing, his opponent at this event has yet to be confirmed.

Featherweight champion Patricio “Pitbull” Freire is slated to jump up to 155 pounds to challenge lightweight champion Michael Chandler in the headliner. Undefeated rising star A.J. McKee vs. former featherweight champion Pat Curran and Douglas Lima facing the winner of Paul Daley vs. Michael Page is also set for the show.
