AEW Star Clears Up Speculation About His Future With the Company

Fans were surprised when checking out Saturday’s AEW Collision due to the direct and short match that opened the show.

FTR lost their AEW Tag Team Titles to Big Bill and Ricky Starks, ending their second reign as champions that began in April. The belief was FTR would likely retain the titles and face the Young Bucks at Full Gear next month on pay-per-view.

That obviously didn’t happen. As previously reported, Cash Wheeler is dealing with an injury. Dax Harwood recently filed to trademark the term CMFTR, which they used with CM Punk, in AEW. They could use it for non-AEW shows or merchandise purposes down the road.

Fightful Select reports that FTR is not going anywhere as the tag team is signed to AEW until 2027 and both sides are on good terms. Earlier in the week,
