Injuries are going to happen in wrestling no matter the style whether a wrestler is considered as safe as The Miz or doing death-defying dives like Darby Allin.
Bandido found that out while working a match that aired on Friday’s Rampage episode in a loss to Konosuke Takeshita.
Bandido signed with AEW last November and worked with the likes of Bryan Danielson and others. He had been out of action due to visa issues until this past April when he started working trios matches. Outside of AEW during that hiatus, he worked for several international promotions in Australia, Mexico, and Belgium.
In a post on Facebook, Bandido noted he suffered an injury to his left wrist, and the first diagnosis was a triangular fibrocartilage complex injury, something that would require immediate surgery. However, he plans to get a second opinion on Monday.
If he does get surgery, the recovery time can range up to three months, with six weeks of that seeing him wear a brace. Should he not get surgery, then he’ll be out for three months.
