AEW President Tony Khan is looking to address some things in his company today with talent at the Dynamite event in Cleveland, Ohio.
Fightful Select reports there is a mandatory talent meeting ahead of the live show. Khan will be present, although not many details are known beyond that.
The report noted that talent told them they expect the meeting “to address some of the rumors of unrest, contract inquiries, and personal issues, as well as those things being leaked.”
However, they’ve not been given any firm details on what to expect. Because AEW has such a large roster, there are plenty of talent who weren’t brought in for this event.
As previously reported, there is “a ton of backstage drama” involving many top AEW stars in addition to the issues between CM Punk and Hangman Page that dates back to Page’s promo on Dynamite leading into their Double Or Nothing World Heavyweight Title match. It’s also been reported that Colt Cabana’s AEW status is an issue between Page and Punk.
Khan has since confirmed there are issues between the two stars.
