Another WrestleMania match is being teased by WWE.
In the main event of tonight’s show, GUNTHER defeated Jey Uso to retain the Intercontinental Title. In the closing minutes of the match, Jey hit 5 spears and the Uso splash off the top but a masked person rang the bell and it turned out to be Jimmy Uso. The match continued and Jey took out Jimmy at ringside. Jey went for the big splash but GUNTHER got his knees up and pinned Jey to retain the title.
GUNTHER continues his historic reign as his 619 days as champion is longer than any IC champion in history. Today, he surpassed Pedro Morales as the longest-reigning IC Champion in history.
GUNTHER’s reign could be ending soon though because he has talked about how he has outgrown the title and he has hinted at wanting to challenge for one of the top championships. Click here for complete WWE Monday Night Raw results.
