On the latest “ARN” podcast on AdFreeShows.com, Arn Anderson was asked about FTR appearing on AEW again. FTR is currently feuding with World Tag Team Champions The Gunns.
“Glad that, you know, they’ve made the right decision, hopefully, and they are going to be with AEW for a long time,” Arn said. “I think that’s where their worth will be appreciated. You know, let’s face it, Dax is a headstrong guy and he has a vision for what he thinks the business should be.”
Arn continued, “A lot of the time, and I would say almost most of the time, to the point of all the time, he’s pretty close to being right. The one thing that if you can get by butting heads with him, because he’s headstrong, and I’ll tell him, and he knows that. I’m not even saying that’s a fault. It’s one of his attributes. Every team I’ve ever seen that walked into a match with those guys, when it was all said and done, they were better for it. They were a better team right then, and the next day when they woke up, they were a little better. They make everything they touch a little better. They work their ass off. They give 120%. They’re just an asset to the wrestling business period.”
FTR is currently feuding with World Tag Team Champions The Gunns. For their upcoming match, the stipulation is that FTR must leave AEW if they don’t win the belts. Dax has been teasing on his podcast that he and Cash Wheeler’s deals will expire soon.
