Former WWE/AEW star Bobby Fish made his Impact Wrestling debut last Friday at the Victory Road show. However, he is not locked down full-time with the promotion just yet.
Pwinsider.com reports that Fish has not signed with Impact Wrestling but did film some backstage content that will be used in the forthcoming shows on AXS.
The report added that Fish is scheduled for the Bound For Glory PPV on October 7 and the tapings the following day in Albany, New York, which coincidentally is Fish’s hometown.
Fish had a successful run in WWE NXT as part of The Undisputed Era with Roderick Strong, Kyle O’Reilly, and Adam Cole. He departed late last year before signing with AEW. His contract with All Elite Wrestling expired at the end of August.
As previously reported, Fish tried to convince Cole and O’Reilly to request their AEW release so that they could go back to WWE, but the two AEW stars decided against it.
