Bloodline Acknowledgement Ceremony has been canceled from WWE Raw 30th anniversary show

There’s been a major change made to the creative plans for the Raw XXX 30th anniversary show.

WWE had been advertising the Bloodline Acknowledgement Ceremony with family members Afa, Sika, Samu, Rikishi, and others flying out to be part of the segment to acknowledge Roman Reigns.

Those plans have changed. PWInsider reports that the plans for the segment have been dropped and in its place will be a “Tribal Court” segment that will revolve around the issues going on with Sami Zayn. PWInsider noted that the plan is to do something called “The Trial of Sami Zayn.”

At this point, there’s no word on why the segment was changed. There’s been a ton of speculation about The Rock possibly being involved in the acknowledgment ceremony but as Dave Meltzer wrote in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, The Rock has indicated that he won’t have enough time to get in ring shape for a match at WrestleMania 39. WWE has a back up plan as of right now, it looks like Reigns vs. Rock is not happening. This may or may not be the reason why the acknowledgment ceremony was scrapped.
