Bobby Lashley’s WWE WrestleMania open challenge answered?

Bobby Lashley was originally slated to wrestle Bray Wyatt at WWE WrestleMania 39, but due to an illness that Wyatt is dealing with, WWE had to nix the bout. However, it’s looking more likely that he will be used on the card in an open challenge.

Lashley won the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal on Friday Night SmackDown. After the match, he noted that he wanted a WrestleMania match and was willing to take on anyone.

As previously noted, a former WWE star has expressed interest in wrestling Lashley.

KSI, who appeared during the Logan Paul vs. Seth Rollins match on the first night of WrestleMania 39 as he was revealed to be under the Prime bottle costume and put through a table, has expressed interest in answering the challenge.

As seen below, KSI spoke with Cathy Kelly, who asked about seeing him get into the ring. He teased getting into the ring with the former WWE Champion.

“I mean, you never know. If I was to choose an opponent, oh my gosh, I don’t even know….Bobby Lashley…..I’m like, Bobby Lashley, put me in there with the beast. Why not? He’s literally like triple of me. I’m up for the challenge, yolo!”

Lashley saw the video and responded on Twitter, “Not really what I had in mind for #WrestleMania but if no one else wants to step up…”

Fightful Select previously reported The Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal Trophy was moved to SoFi Stadium for use in an entrance, indicating Lashley will be on the show.
