CM Punk’s latest Instagram Stories post will get a lot of people talking.
Punk hasn’t said much publicly since the backstage incident after AEW All Out in September and fans have been trying to read between the lines on some cryptic things he’s been posting.
The latest post is a repost from a video on Ice T’s Instagram page. The clip (see below), is about forgiveness for “bad deeds” and that forgiveness does not necessarily mean that you have to hang out with the person/people who wronged you.
What Punk’s post means in the grand scheme of things is anyone’s guess. Whether this means he’s ready to return to AEW or move on is also anyone’s guess but he is still under contract and Dave Meltzer reported last week that Punk will be available soon if AEW wants to use him.
Punk may have his detractors but there are also people in AEW who want to see him back so time will tell on what the future looks like for Punk’s in-ring career.
