Ever since Solo Sikoa was moved up to the main roster, WWE creative has done everything to keep him strong. Sikoa has lost via DQ before but up until tonight, he had not been pinned since joining the SmackDown roster last year but that changed during tonight’s episode of Monday Night Raw.
Sikoa wrestled Cody in the main event of tonight’s show. It looked like Sikoa was about to win the match when The Usos ran out to cause interference but they were thwarted by Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn. Rhodes hit the Cross Rhodes and pinned Sikoa clean to close out the show.
Rhodes will not head to SmackDown this Friday night to meet Roman Reigns face-to-face one last time before their title match at WrestleMania. As for Sikoa, the loss may be part of a bigger story (see below) as they have been teasing a split within The Bloodline.
