Darby Allin is someone known to take risks in the ring and do dangerous spots. He also takes chances outside of the ring with stunts and skateboarding.
The match
Sting & Darby Allin vs. Konosuke Takeshita and Powerhouse Hobbs was booked in a Texas Tornado Match this past week on Dynamite in the main event. The babyfaces went over in the content before Allin and Sting had a staredown with The Young Bucks.
As previously reported, Sting and Allin are slated to wrestle The Young Bucks at AEW Revolution in March, marking Sting’s retirement match. For more on that, click here.
The injury
Bryan Alavarez reported on the F4Wonline Board that Allin suffered an injury when taking a bump in the match. He wrote, “Actually, I was told the neck bump into the ropes really messed Darby up in that match.”
It’s unclear how severe the injury is and if he will miss any time due to injury. We wish him a speedy recovery. You can check out the spot below:
