It’s official. Former WWE star Adam Copeland, aka Edge, has signed with AEW and he appeared live at the WrestleDream pay-per-view in Seattle.
Christian Cage was able to retain the TNT Championship after Nick Wayne turned on Darby Allin. After the match, the attack continued with Cage, Wayne and Luchasaurus attacking Sting and Allin.
The lights went out and a person was shown driving into the arena. When the lights turned on, Edge’s theme played and he went to the ring to his Metalingus theme music and he teased taking out Sting with a chair but instead he took out Christian’s crew. Copeland shook hands with Allin and Sting as the show came to a close.
