Another indication that WWE is bringing back a former star is evident as the company continues to drop clues with QR codes.
WWE aired these types of QR codes in the lead-up to Bray Wyatt’s return. The intention behind the codes will lead to Bo Dallas’ return to WWE television as Uncle Howdy, as he had been paired with his brother on television before his passing due to a heart attack last November.
As previously reported, Erick Rowan, who was part of the Wyatt Family, is also returning to the company to be part of the group. You can see who else is planned for the group here.
There has been speculation that Rowan is returning since it was announced that he had pulled out of several independent bookings, including one for East Coast Pro Wrestling (ECPW), due to “new contractual obligations,” which makes it sound like he’s going back to WWE.
Rowan was later spotted in Pittsburgh, a typical city where WWE sends talent to get medical tests done before they’re signed.
PWInsider.com reports Rowan was spotted at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida, this week. It’s still unclear when the group will appear on WWE television.
