There has been some speculation about what All Elite Wrestling will do with its Rampage program now that they’re launching a second weekly two-hour television show on Saturday night titled AEW Collision.
The show will air on TNT starting June 17th, 2023, and will be built around the returning CM Punk. As previously reported, the premiere episode of AEW Collision is expected to feature another ‘major talent debut or return.’ For more on AEW’s brand split plans for top stars on Dynamite and Collision, click here.
Until this week, AEW aired Dynamite, a two-hour program every Wednesday night on TBS, and Rampage, a one-hour broadcast on TNT, as weekly television programs. They also had their streaming developmental shows, Dark and Dark: Elevation, although it appears Elevation is no longer after FITE advertised this week’s show as the final episode.
There’s been no confirmation from AEW regarding the future of Dark: Elevation.
In the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reported that AEW’s current plan is to keep airing Rampage and likely taping it after Dynamite.
Meltzer wrote, “What we have confirmed is that TNT will continue to air Rampage on Friday nights for one hour.”
