Update: Thrasher has also confirmed that he’s signed a deal:
Original: Chazz Warrington, better known as Mosh of The Headbangers, is once again with WWE in an official capacity.
The former WWE tag team, Mosh & Thrasher, broke into the wrestling business in 1994. They were signed by WWE in 1996, and their original run lasted until 2000. While with WWE, they held the Tag Team Titles once, while Thrasher was a one-time Hardcore Champion.
In 2016, they returned for a short run on SmackDown as heels. The Headbangers worked the SmackDown Tag Team Championship tournament, losing against Heath Slater and Rhyno in the first round. Later on, they lost to The Usos in a Survivor Series qualifying match before having their last match on the 900th episode of SmackDown.
In a post on Twitter, Mosh announced that he had signed a nostalgia contract with the company.
