WWE has one of its top prospects back from the sidelines after being out of action for a lengthy period of time with an injury.
Event
WWE held an NXT live event on Friday night from Crystal River, FL, that was headlined by NXT Women’s Champion Lyra Valkyria’s retaining over Lola Vice. It also featured the in-ring return of Sol Ruca.
After making her in-ring debut in the summer of 2022, Ruca impressed WWE officials after a strong run on the developmental brand. WWE had considered giving Ruca a run as an NXT Women’s Tag Team Champion with Dani Palmer before Ruca was sidelined.
The return
Ruca was written off television last May on the special Spring Breakin’ episode of NXT alongside former NXT Women’s Champion Indi Hartwell and Grayson Waller. Ruca was out with a torn ACL.
At the house show, Ruca teamed with Brinley Reece to put over (Jacy Jayne & Thea Hail).
