John Laurinaitis set to make his first post-WWE appearance

John Laurinaitis, aka Johnny Ace, will make his first post-WWE appearance in a few months.

The former WWE Executive will appear at Wrestlecon in Los Angeles, CA, over WrestleMania 39 weekend. He is being booked by Bobby Fulton’s Big Time Collectibles, according to Pwinsider.com.

Since WCW went out of business, Laurinaitis has worked in various roles for WWE.

In 2004, Jim Ross was replaced as head of talent relations by Laurinaitis when Ross stepped down from his executive roles within the company. Laurinaitis remained in that position until 2012, when Triple H took over.

Laurinaitus was demoted as one of the WWE’s head producers in 2012. He has also worked as an on-air personality from 2011-12 as General Manager. In March 2021, Laurinaitis was back in as head of talent relations until WWE launched an investigation in relation to the Vince McMahon-Wall Street Journal sexual misconduct story regarding a former WWE Employee who had a sexual relationship with him.

Laurinaitis was released by WWE last August after being sent home.
