Kevin Owens suffered a knee injury at WWE live event

Unfortunately, Kevin Owens is sidelined with a knee injury.

As previously noted, there was concern about Owens following Sunday’s Sunday’s WWE house show in Madison, Wisconsin, where he beat Austin theory in a singles match.

Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter confirmed that the injury is an MCL sprain. Meltzer wrote, “The way it was worded was that hopefully that is all the injury is with the idea it could be more than that.”

Owens came down from the turnbuckle and landed hard on his knee before he immediately clutched the knee as the referee checked on him. Owens then got back up, hit the Stunner, and got the pin on Theory. Owens was helped to the backstage area by the referee while limping.

We hope to have more information on this situation shortly and wish Owens a speedy recovery.
