Mercedes Mone knows how to get fans to speculate about her potentially showing up at today’s AEW All In pay-per-view event in London, England, at Wembley Stadium.
The former WWE star was wrestling Willow Nightingale in a match to crown the first-ever NJPW Strong Women’s Champion when she suffered an injury in the main event of NJPW Resurgence, resulting in her undergoing surgery.
As previously reported, Mone is staying quiet about her status and when she will return. She’s expected to challenge for the Strong Women’s Title when she returns, and there were rumors of her working in AEW before she was sidelined with the injury.
Mone shared photos on Sunday morning, hours before All In, noting she is in London. Some fans have shared their belief that she’s showing up at the event, which has NOT been confirmed, while others point out that if she were to show up, she wouldn’t let fans know ahead of time she was in the city as a way to keep it a surprise.
Perhaps Mone will be at the show, but purely visiting with friends at this historic show. We’ll find out in just a few hours.
