While away from All Elite Wrestling, MJF has been pursuing more acting.
AEW hiatus
MJF worked the AEW Worlds End pay-per-view event and was injured when he lost the AEW World Heavyweight Championship against Samoa Joe in the main event. Heading into the bout, he was dealing with a torn labrum and a hip injury.
He is still deciding whether he will get surgery for the torn labrum. If he gets surgery, he could be out for close to a year.
