Reason why Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch missed WWE house show

Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch were some WWE stars who dealt with travel issues on Monday as WWE kicked off its post-Christmas tour. WWE held two live events, one at Madison Square Garden and the other in Columbus, Ohio. The latter event was described as a logical mess.

The married couple missed the show. In a post on Twitter, Rollins explained that the tour bus he and his wife used to travel broke down.

Rollins wrote, “I’m very sorry! We tried, but by the time the bus broke down on the side of the road, we had no other recourse.”

Mike Johson of PWInsider.com also noted that they were told the bus was actually in Iowa last weekend in advance of this weekend’s tour, and it would’ve been a 9-10 hour drive from Iowa, not factoring in the harsh weather conditions.

The former WWE Universal Champion was originally scheduled to face Austin Theory in the Columbus main event but was replaced, and WWE booked Theory vs. Damian Priest vs. Johnny Gargano inside a steel cage.

The travel situation for WWE talent was described as a “total nightmare” and “beyond frustrating.”
