Roman Reigns’ First Comments After Loss At WWE WrestleMania

Roman Reigns has broken his silence regarding his WWE WrestleMania 40 loss.

The Rock & Reigns vs. Cody Rhodes & Seth Rollins was the WWE WrestleMania 40 headliner of night one, where the heels went over only for the next night to have Rhodes win the Undisputed WWE Universal Title from Reigns.

It ended Reigns’ reign as the champion, which lasted for over 1,300 days. Although not confirmed, it’s been speculated that Reigns will take time off from television following the bout.

To become the Universal Champion, Reigns defeated Braun Strowman and Bray Wyatt in a triple threat match at the 2020 WWE Payback, where he would later go on to beat the likes of Daniel Bryan, Edge, Kevin Owens, Jey Uso, Rey Mysterio, Cesaro, Finn Balor, John Cena, Goldberg, Sami Zayn, Matt Riddle, and others.

Reigns beat Brock Lesnar to unify the WWE Universal Championship with the WWE Championship to become the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion at WrestleMania 38.

He captioned a video on Twitter of him walking on a treadmill with, “Yesterday I mourned. Today is Day 1.” Check it out below:
