Several WWE title belt redesigns have been completed

Over the last few weeks, there have been rumors about Triple H making changes to numerous WWE title belts. @BeltFanDan previously reported that new designs for both the men’s and women’s Tag Team Titles are currently being worked on. Dan noted the titles have the existing design with a black strap, dual plates, and a big WWE logo in the middle of them. There are also old, never-used tag team titles, which look like the women’s tag titles on colored straps.

Fightful Select reports that at least three new sets of title belts are finished and currently in hand by WWE. Sources indicated that other design alterations have been mentioned but didn’t elaborate past that.

WWE talent they have spoken with said that they’d been in favor of some changes to title belts personally. Regarding whether they prefer velcro vs. snaps, several wrestlers said that the velcro helps them when they need to attach the belt quickly, but cosmetically it looks bad.

The report noted there were already plans in motion to utilize some new designs before the WWE regime change, with Triple H replacing Vince McMahon as head of creative.

Triple H hasn’t been shy about changing things and has reportedly accelerated some things. Fightful also heard that additional cosmetic changes to things across Raw, SmackDown, and NXT could also be on the horizon. WWE has already done that with the change to NXT’s logo.
