Two Impact Wrestling Stars No Longer With the Promotion

Impact Wrestling is coming off its Slammiversary pay-per-view event over the weekend that featured the returns of Josh Alexander and Eric Young.

In the main event, Nick Aldis came up short against Impact World Champion Alex Shelley. He worked with Young at Sunday’s TV tapings. There are also wrestlers leaving the promotion.

Pwinsider Elite reports Aldis and Zicky Dice are done with Impact Wrestling. They finished up at Sunday’s TV tapings from Windsor. As of this writing, Aldis and Dice have not commented on their departures.

Aldis’ bout with Young will air this Thursday on TV while Dice faced off against Johnny Swinger in a Loser Leaves Impact match at Sunday’s tapings.

Aldis ended his first run with the promotion in 2017, where he would go on to become the face of the NWA until he departed this past January before returning to Impact this past April at Rebellion, where he had been chasing the Impact World Title.

Dice was trained at The Black and Brave Wrestling Academy under Marek Brave and current WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins. He made his debut for the NWA in December 2019, where he was a former World TV Champion. He left at the end of 2020 before joining Impact in August 2021.
