WWE is bringing in some top stars from the Raw roster for Friday’s SmackDown.
Pwinsider.com reports the current plan is to have United States Champion Bobby Lashley and Austin Theory at the event.
It’s likely they will be just working a dark match at the show, but it’s also possible that they appear as, for months, WWE has been using more stars from other brands on their weekly television programs.
The only thing confirmed for Friday’s episode of SmackDown is Street Profits vs. New Day vs. Alpha Academy vs. Los Lotharios in a top contender match, with the winning team earning the right to challenge for the Undisputed WWE Universal Titles, currently held by The Usos.
Last week on Monday Night Raw, Lashley retained his United States Title over The Miz in a steel cage match in the main event.
