Charlotte Flair is determined to return to the squared circle as quickly as possible after being sidelined with a severe injury that will keep her on the shelf for 9 to 12 months.
The injury
The future WWE Hall of Famer tore her ACL, MCL, and meniscus in December on WWE SmackDown in a match with Asuka when Flair did a spot in the corner, seemingly twisted when falling, and immediately grabbed her knee. Before the injury, she had been on a lengthy babyface run that included a win over Damage CTRL in the Women’s WarGames Match at Survivor Series in November.
Earlier this month, she had the surgery in Birmingham, Alabama and has been rehabbing ever since.
The footage
As seen below, the former WWE Women’s Champion noted that she had her stitches removed and showed off some rehab footage on her Instagram Story.
