WWE is expected to make The Rock vs. Roman Reigns official for WrestleMania 40 this April when WWE has them face off at an open-to-the-public fan and media event tonight.
WrestleMania 40 Kickoff will air live from T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT. Doors open at 2:30 p.m. PT.
This non-ticketed event is free for all to attend. Triple H, Cody Rhodes, World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins, Bianca Belair, and Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley are advertised to appear.
This match was planned in secret last month when Dwayne Johnson was appointed to the TKO Board of Directors. He was also given the rights to the trademarked “The Rock” name in addition to $30 million dollars in stock. Part of The Rock’s deal to join the Board of Directors was to get the match with Reigns.
