Welcome to our live coverage of WWE Friday Night Smackdown, which is emanating from The Canada Life Centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. Announced for tonight’s show, Shotzi will take on Bayley, Hit Row will take on Los Lotherios, and Ricochet will team up with Madcap Moss to take on Sami Zayn and Solo Sikoa.
Match 1: Sami Zayn and Solo Sikoa vs Madcap Moss and Ricochet
– The match starts off with Zayn locking Ricochet in a headlock, Ricochet then hits a dropkick on Sami, Madcap then throws Ricochet into Sami and Sikoa on the outside as we go to commercial break.
*Commercial break*
– We are back from commercial as we see Sikoa chop at the back of Ricochet’s neck, Ricochet then hits a dropkick from the middle rope on Sikoa, Zayn then hits the blue thunder.bomb on Madcap to secure a nearfall, Madcap then hits a jackhammer on Sami, Ricochet then goes for a tope suicida but Sikoa throws a chair at him behind the referee’s back, Sikoa then hits the spinning Solo on Madcap to secure the pinfall victory.
Winners via pinfall: Solo Sikoa and Sami Zayn at 12:34.
– After the match, Sikoa lands a series of headbutts on Madcap in the corner, followed by two running hip attacks.
– Karrion Kross says that after he’s done with Drew McIntyre, he can go after the WWE Undisputed Universal championship, Kross says that he’s going to leave Drew in hell, to burn forever.
Match 2: Drew McIntyre vs Austin Theory
– The match starts off with Theory running into the corner away from Drew, Drew then lands a vertical suplex throw on Theory, Theory then hits a rolling dropkick into Drew, Drew then hits the future shock DDT on Theory, Drew then throws Chad Gable into the ring, Otis then throws Drew into the steel steps, causing the disqualification.
Winner via disqualification: Drew McIntyre at 1:56.
– After the match, Alpha Academy and Theory continue to beat down Drew, Johnny Gargano then attempts to make the save but is beaten down, Kevin Owens then makes the save, Alpha Academy and Theory are then sent to the outside.
Match 3: Los Lotherios vs Hit Row
– The match starts off with Los Lotherios hitting a face slam on Ashante, both men then kick away at Ashante in the corner, Top Dolla then hits a slam on both Humberto and Angel, Hit Row then hit the heavy hitter to secure the pinfall victory.
Winner via pinfall: Hit Row at 2:25.
Match 4: Natalya vs Ronda Rousey
– The match starts off with Natalya attempting to lock in the sharpshooter, Ronda then lands a right hand to the face of Natalya, Natalya then lands a spinning closeline on Ronda to secure a nearfall, Ronda then locks in the anklelock to secure the submission victory.
Winner via submission: Ronda Rousey at 3:27
– After the match, Liv Morgan comes out with a baseball bat, Ronda then kicks Liv in the stomach, Liv then hits Ronda in the stomach with the bat, Ronda then hits the piper’s pit on Liv on the outside, Ronda then throws Liv into the timekeeper’s area, security then attempt to calm Ronda down, Ronda then attempts to leave but Liv jumps on her from behind, both women continue to fight as security breaks them up.
– Imperium make their entrance, Giovanni Vinci says Gunther is what a champion looks like, Gunther says that he will beat Sheamus next week and break his spirit once and for all, Sheamus then interrupts, Sheamus says that Butch and Ridge Holland are stuck in Florida, Sheamus says that he will kick the head out of all three members of Imperium, Sheamus then takes out Ludwig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci with a shillelagh, Sheamus and Gunther then brawl I’m the ring, Ludwig and Giovanni then hold Sheamus in the corner, allowing Gunther to land a big boot and a series of chops in the corner, Gunther then hits a powerbomb on Sheamus, Sheamus then asks Gunther if that’s all he has, Vinci and Kaiser then attack Sheamus, Gunther then hits Sheamus with his own Shillelagh.
Match 5: Bayley vs Shotzi
– The match starts off with Bayley landing a series of punches on Shotzi, Shotzi then hits an enziguri on Bayley, Shotzi then sends Bayley to the outside as we go to commercial break.

– We are back from commercial as we see Shotzi hit a dropkick on Bayley, Shotzi then hits a suplex on Bayley in the corner, Bayley then hits the rose plant on Shotzi to secure the pinfall victory.
– After the match, Bayley hits another rose plant on Shotzi, Bayley then brings in a ladder, Bayley then places Shotzi in the ladder, Bianca Belair then makes the save, Bayley then attacks Bianca from behind, Bianca then attempts to hit the KOD on Bayley but Bayley retreats.
Match 6: Austin Theory and Alpha Academy vs Kevin Owens, Johnny Gargano, and Drew McIntyre.
– The match starts off with Gargano and Gable, Gargano then hits a dropkick on Gable, Owens then hits a running cannonball off the apron on Theory and Gable as we go to commercial break.

– We are back from commercial as we see Gable hit a northern lights suplex on Gargano, Owens then hits a DDT on Gable, followed by a corner cannonball and a swanton from the top rope, Drew then hits a neckbreaker on Theory, Otis then sends Drew into the steel steps, Gargano and Owens then hit superkicks on Otis, Owens then hits a stunner on Gable on top of the announce table, Drew then hits a claymore on Theory to secure the pinfall victory.
Winners via pinfall: Drew McIntyre, Johnny Gargano, and Kevin Owens at 9:51.
– After the match, Drew hits Theory in the back with a strap as Smackdown goes off the air.
