WWE has emergency plans in place if there are issues in Saudi Arabia

In the last 24 hours, there has been some concern for WWE talent as they travel to Saudi Arabia for Saturday’s Crown Jewel event following a report by The Wall Street Journal that stated Saudi Arabia made the United States aware of a potential imminent threat to their Kingdom from Iran.

Crown Jewel is slated to be hosted from Riyadh. Pwinsider.com reports that WWE is still moving forward with the show as “the company already has security protocols and emergency contingencies in place for any issues.” It was added that WWE is hopeful everything will be fine.

It’s a big show for the company as they’re using Logan Paul in the main event when he challenges Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Title with the idea that it will get mainstream interest.

WWE is already planning its first event in Saudi Arabia next year. The company has a 10-year partnership with the Saudi General Sports Authority, and WWE is paid big money to host two events in the country per year.
