WWE received some bad news this morning regarding Monday Night Raw and the ratings that the show brings in, as the NFL is expected to take an even bigger chunk out of its ratings.
Every fall, WWE and the USA Network know that they will lose out on viewers due to the competition in the way of NFL Monday Night Football on ESPN. The NFL is a monster when it comes to drawing ratings.
In recent years, ESPN has also broadcasted a simulcast with Peyton and Eli Manning on ESPN 2 while watching the game and interviewing guests.
Multiple outlets reported today that ABC will be broadcasting the entire Monday Night Football season, something that hasn’t been done in 17 years. The reason for this is due to the SAG-AFTRA strike.
ESPN will air two NFL games tonight and next week, which will go up against Raw.
