WWE Star Says He May Never Get Cleared To Wrestle Again

WWE Superstar Big E provided an update on his neck and the news is both good and bad.

Big E has been out of action since March 2022 after taking an overhead belly-to-belly suplex from Ridge Holland at ringside. Big E accidentally landed on the top of his head and was taken to the hospital. He was later diagnosed with a broken neck and he’s been rehabbing ever since.

Big E has said in interviews that it’s not clear if he would ever wrestle again. In an update on social media, he said that the two-year neck scans show that things haven’t changed and he may never get cleared. The good news is that he says that he’s pain-free and healthy.

Big E wrote:

“Hey, all! Two year neck scans are in. Things are unchanged. My C1 has healed fibrously but has not formed new bone. I’m not medically cleared and truthfully, I may never be cleared. But I am blessed to be free of pain, immensely happy and otherwise healthy. Life is good.”

Big E appeared alongside New Day members Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston at the WWE Hall of Fame to induct Thunderbolt Patterson. Whatever happens with his wrestling career, it’s good to hear that he’s happy and pain free.
