WWE has brought back a star that has been on the sidelines for almost a year. In that time period, a lot changed with the company that had been on fire.
At Tuesday’s NXT Level Up tapings that will air on Peacock this Friday, Wendy Choo made her return from the sidelines with an injury. Choo has been on the injury list since the May 19th edition of NXT Level Up.
Choo hadn’t worked a match since May 16, 2023, when she and Kelani Jordan went over Elektra Lopez & Lola Vice. Choo was part of the mysterious parking lot attacks by Blair Davenport at the time to write her off television.
Choo was seen in attendance last Friday on SmackDown and Monday’s Raw for the Draft. Several NXT stars were called up to the main roster as a result.
At the tapings, she faced off with Wren Sinclair ahead of NXT, where she went over. Wendy and Wren showed respect after the match. She acknowledged her return, as seen below:
