Umaga’s son, Zila Fatu, is slated to make his pro wrestling debut next month.
The former WWE star, who was part of the Anoa’i family along with cousins The Usos and Roman Reigns, worked for WWE in the 200s under various gimmicks, with the first being Jamal as part of the Three Minute Warning tag team with cousin Rosey.
He later had a run as the Umaga character, where he was first pushed as a main eventer before being an upper mid-carder, where he held the Intercontinental Title twice.
It was announced by Booker T’s promotion, Reality of Wrestling, that Fatu will work their Summer of Champions event at the Humble Civic Center on July 15. Fatu had started to train with ROW last December.
Also set for the show include WWE NXT’s Trick Williams, former WWE star Alicia Fox, and Jacob Fatu.
