It’s no secret that Chris Jericho is now open to working for promotions in North America. That is a change from his thinking just a few months ago and it could be an indication that something has changed in his relationship with WWE.
Dave Meltzer reported last week that people in Impact Wrestling are under the belief that he will work with them in the future and Jericho is the current IWGP Intercontinental Champion so he will be wrestling for New Japan Pro Wrestling again.
Jericho has been playing into the speculation on social media and in a recent post, he said that 2019 is going to be an interesting year since he is a free agent.

It would not surprise me if WWE offers him a ton of money to return in an effort to keep him away from Impact or Ring Of Honor’s big show in Madison Square Garden.
Jericho isn’t the only big name on the free agent market. The contracts for The Young Bucks, Cody Rhodes and Kenny Omega are set to expire in a few months and WWE is interested. This time around they will be free to spend more money to get them because of their huge TV deals with NBCUniversal and FOX Sports.
Juice Robinson is another name that WWE has shown interest in but he has already shot down the idea of going back.
