It sure seems like WWE is behind Elias as one of their top heel characters. He doesn’t have a match at SummerSlam but WWE has booked him for a live concert at the Gramercy Theatre in New York City on the night before the pay-per-view.
WWE has also announced that Elias will be performing his greatest song during the SummerSlam pay-per-view. According to the preview on WWE.com, Elias promises that this will be “his single greatest song to date during The Biggest Event of the Summer.”
Let the speculation to begin on who will interrupt him. Elias has been calling out The Rock in recent weeks but it seems more likely that this will be another angle with Bobby Lashley. We’ll find out on Sunday night.
