A WWE SmackDown star has tested positive for COVID-19

As noted earlier, Drew McIntyre tested positive for COVID-19 and that forced WWE to change things up for Monday Night Raw.

McIntyre provided a video statement to address the fans watching Raw and he said that he was one of the fortunate cases to not show symptoms but he urged everyone to take the virus seriously.

It turns out that McIntyre is not the only person in WWE that recently tested positive for the virus because, as first reported by Ringside News, there was a positive result among someone on the SmackDown roster and this person is involved in a current storyline.

WWE has been open about McIntyre’s positive test but they have not yet announced the identity of the person on SmackDown who tested positive. There are HIPAA laws in place that prevent the person’s name from getting out but it’s also no secret that WWE does not like to disclose positive tests so there’s no reason to believe that a statement is coming unless the SmackDown star decides to issue their own statement on their own.

We hope for a speedy recovery for anyone who is currently dealing with the virus.
