AJ Styles responds after fan says WWE would ruin and tarnish The Young Bucks and Kenny Omega

The Young Bucks and Kenny Omega are going to be free agents in a few months. The Bucks’ contracts expire at the end of the year and Omega’s deal is up in late January. Of course, fans are going to speculate on a possible jump to WWE and many would love to see them because of potential dream match scenarios on the WWE stage.

However, some fans are not so thrilled about the possibility of three of the biggest wrestling stars today potentially signing with the biggest company in the world but AJ Styles had something to say to fans that feel that way.

It all started with this tweet from WWE superfan Rachereen Dream:

That was followed up by a tweet from Twitter user @iDontCare1830. The tweet read:

“I know you’re not implying you’d like to see them all in the WWE. Seriously? So they could be ruined and tarnished and have WWE’s corporate stench on them? They’re perfectly fine changing the wrestling world in NJPW, ROH and ALL_IN.”

Styles responded after seeing that tweet:

“This is what you and some seem to forget….THIS IS A BUSINESS. We have bills and a family to take care of just like everyone else. Everything we put our body’s through on a weekly basis will not last forever. Work hard and earn it all.”

The points mentioned by the fan are valid but Styles is right. Wrestling is a business and wrestlers only have a certain amount of time to make big money before their bodies start to break down. The Bucks and Omega may or may not be watered down in WWE but they’ll probably end up making the most money in WWE and, at the end of the day, that is what matters most if you are treating pro wrestling as a business and as a way to feed your family. It will be interesting to see where they land in a few months. 2019 will be an interesting year.
