Akira Tozawa defeated Neville to become the new WWE Cruiserweight Champion on this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw. They wrestled in front of a hot crowd and the announcers tried to get over that Tozawa was overcoming tremendous odds.
When he won the match, they compared it to James Buster Douglas’ defeating Mike Tyson in 1990. His match with Neville is still listed on the SummerSlam page on WWE.com so I guess this means that the match is still on and Neville will defend the title on Sunday.
