Alexa Bliss Says Her WWE Contract Has Been Extended, Reveals Reason Why She Was Off TV Before Her Pregnancy

On Wednesday, Alexa Bliss and Ryan Cabrera revealed that they are expecting their first child this December.

The couple announced the news on social media and they revealed that this was not planned but they were excited to have a baby. Bliss will obviously be away from WWE even longer, likely until early 2024.

During an interview with TheMessenger.com, Bliss said that she was planning on her return to in-ring action for WWE when she found out that she was pregnant. “I was preparing for my return in the ring and I was just having really bad cramping. I thought that was weird,” Bliss said.

Bliss also revealed that her time away from WWE this year was so that she could be part of FOX’s Masked Singer show. As for her return, she said that it would be probably a month after she gives birth. The pregnancy also means that her contract has been extended. She said, “[WWE] extended my contract, and so it’s just basically come back when I’m ready. Probably a month after the baby, I’ll start probably getting back into the gym, and getting ready for to see what my in-ring return looks like.”

If Bliss returns a month after giving birth, then it means that she could be back in time for the Royal Rumble PLE and in time to be involved in a WrestleMania storyline.

Congratulations to the happy couple. Click here to read the full interview at The Messenger.
