Another change expected for WWE Women’s Tag Team Title Tournament

WWE is making another change to the Women’s Tag Team Title tournament.

Bryan Alvarez of F4Wonline.com reported the news on Twitter. As of this writing, it’s unclear what the change is or who it will impact. Alvarez wrote, “Expect another change to the cursed bracket of the WWE women’s tag tournament.”

Last week on SmackDown, WWE changed the originally planned match that would’ve seen Nikkita Lyons & Zoey Stark vs. Natalya & Sonya Deville. Former NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions Toxic Attraction (Gigi Dolin & Jacy Jayne) replaced Stark and Lyons.

Stark is injured, and Lyons has since denied her COVID-19 vaccination status having anything to do with her being pulled from the bout.

On tonight’s Raw, Alexa Bliss & Asuka vs. Dakota Kai & IYO SKY in a semifinal bout is booked while on Friday’s SmackDown, the other semifinal match will take place with Toxic Attraction vs. Raquel Rodriguez & Aliyah.

UPDATE: Toxic Attraction has been pulled from the tournament. Click here for details.
