As noted earlier, former WWE Champion Kane is expected to be part of the men’s Royal Rumble. Click here for more on that story.
Another name that is rumored to be involved on the pay-per-view is former WWE Superstar Shannon Moore.
Moore was scheduled for events with Canadian Wrestling’s Elite promotion this weekend but he pulled out due to a WWE commitment. That would seemingly indicate that WWE wants him for the Royal Rumble.
It could mean that he is starting in a behind-the-scenes role since he coached at the Performance Center last May.
After WCW was purchased, Moore signed with WWE in 2001 and worked there until 2005. He was brought back in 2006 until his release in 2008. He ahso had a couple of stints in TNA Wrestling.
